Mark Albrighton Posted August 20, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted August 20, 2016 So that's Huddersfield top, only one match they haven't won and they really should have been 3-0 down at half time in that one too. Taking that as a positive.
Zatman
said it before but a winning streak in this league really rockets you up the table. anybody that wins 5 in a bounce is going to jump a lot places

The Championship tends to be quite bunched up and we've seen teams before that have been in the bottom half go on a run and finish in the play offs. Although yes you'd expect a significant climb in any league with 5 wins. You're both right! Happy Saturday.
VillaChris
Haven't mentioned him much lately....but great take and finish from Gayle yesterday. Newcastle looked a bit fortunate...all Bristol from the highlights but wins while not playing well will build confidence. They'll be up there come May for sure. dudevillaisnice
It's actually a pretty good league. Could be a novelty factor of course. Our games are actually enjoyable too even if we are work in progress.

Ipswich have had a good goal ruled out for offside and a possible penalty not given. Both teams had good spells in that first half and both look fairly decent. useless
It's more true in this league because there are more games, and most of the teams are more even in terms of quality. Quite often you'll see teams do well at the start and end up finishing in the bottom half, and teams who get of to a slow start, ending up finishing in and around the play-offs, sometimes even better. Nope - we only won 2 in a row at any point under Sherwood. We beat West Brom & Sunderland then lost to Swansea & Manure After drawing with QPR we beat Spurs then lost to Man City We beat Everton then West Ham then lost every other game that season. I think VillaChris meant 'three out of four', ie Spurs, Man City, Everton, West Ham.

rodders0223
Derby play the same way they have since Clough. Watched them a fair bit. Nice little players, decent on the ball....zero creativity, boring, dull, no incisive play. I also think Will Hughes is crazy overated.
