I totally understand Hutton is not a CB.

I have said a few times and I agree all day - he is no longer as effective at his natural RB either. However, his time he has played at LB has been very acceptable and rightly earned his one year extension. I class him now as more of a LB than a RB since he has played there more in the last 12 months than he has at RB.

I have never ever seen or been aware that Hutton has ever played at CB (someone correct me if I'm wrong) in his career anywhere so to write him off based on no eveidence or maybe personal dislike of a player is a little strange.

So for that unknown entity alone I would still trust that he would give a better 90 minute display as a centre back for one game than what Jedinak would imo - and that's also without ever seeing him at CB either.  :thumb:

millwall away this season and didnt have a shocker...jed would be a better choice though

Without seeing Chester in the Wales game where he got injured, I am kind of hoping there are a few mind games in there and he will actually be fine to play this Sunday.

Same goes for McGinn.

They both strike me as players that want to do their best for club and country, 2 key players, I don’t think mind games come in to it

Hope you're right!  McGinn and Chester are very important to us!

I don't think that Axel/Jedinak have started together as CBs.  It may turn out to be a better CB pairing than Chester/Jedinak.  At least Axel has pace whereas Chester/Jedinak have very little....just trying to stay positive in case Chester is ruled out!

Exactly. Plus correct me if I’m wrong but I believe non of them were away for international duty so have been able to work on a partnership for nearly 2 weeks.

We have to considerthat we have a lot of games in short succession coming up.

Even if there is a doubt for Sunday I'd leave him out, rather than him break down and miss a good few games because of it.

Odd that there has been no news at all on this. Guessing he’s gone to see a specialist for a scan and they are waiting on the results.

Either that or he's totally fine.

It's either really good news or really bad news :D
