I think even if we'd just not had Micah Richards in there we'd have fared better. The team played down to the failings of the weakest player rather than up to their stars. Tbf, it wouldn't be ridiculous at all to start a relegation thread purely on the pattern that the club has taken over the last decade. We are completely broken. Not because we don't have enough talent to make a go of it in the Championship but because the players do not have the mental state for job at hand. I used to rant how we needed this and that, and how we were playing the wrong formation etc. But now, no matter who we play, who we sign, where we play, we lose. We lose every match. I'm completely out of ideas. I think we probably need 6/7 players minimum. Which ones, I have no clue. This is the lowest I've ever known it as a Villa fan. We still play like dogshite, this year we probably just need to get a grip on our team and stop the rot. It will spread like a disease amongst the new players if we don't get rid of that disease from last season. Keep that lot from last season and they will have to hire Derren Brown to join us, to brainwash that load of shite into thinking they are professional footballers. Im pretty sure it's safe to say that it's definitely a possibility at the minute. No number is signings can sort us out at this stage.
