Popular Post chrisp65 Posted July 13, 2021 Author Popular Post Share Posted July 13, 2021 I’ve watched the GB News programme that that woman hosts (I don’t know her name). It was, compelling. They were discussing the Euros and how good it was. Her opinion was that the euros were much better than the World Cup because the Euros are a straight knock out competition where there has to be a winner and you whittle down the weaker teams until there is one champion. Whereas, in the World Cup, they sort of do this thing, where you’re in sort of like little groups, and you can lose or draw and it might or might not matter depending on what happens in other games. Which is stupid and isn’t a proper competition and that’s why the Euros will always be better for England. Quote The TV figures showed that Business editor Liam Halligan and former Labour MP Gloria De Piero recorded zero viewers for their show between 1pm and 1.30pm on Wednesday afternoon. Going well then. Problem is their throbbing was done is relative moderation, which caused what little audience they had to leave. And therein lies the crux, because why would anyone with a modicum of critical thinking get their news from GB News? The demographic it should appeal to want an echo chamber, not news.
