This is kinda nice. The Sweden squad having a photo session and training wearing the shirts of their parent clubs where their careers started.

If that was England, we all know what kit would be missing. You know the one.

Was supposed to say boyhood clubs rather than parent clubs. As in their first clubs.

Ireland cruising at 2-0. Armenia drag it back to 2-2.

A 90th min Var penalty to Ireland. Two Armenians red carded in protest. 3-2 to Ireland.

A Scott Hogan star appearance and messing up a 1 on 1. Callum Robinson, Connor Hourihane all the villa classics.

International Football doesnt come better or worse than this.

Good to see SJM captaining Scotland to Group A of Nations League whilst Grealish and co will be farting about in Group B when it comes round again. Italians, French amongst others at Hampden. Estonia and Finland amongst others at Wembley. Well done John. Will see how long we can stay there…..lol

Was seeding based solely on the nations league?

teams that got to the semi finals in Nations League were top seeds then the next 5 were the best teams and based on rankings. England are 15th in current rankings behind HUngary, Switzerland, Austria and Czech at the moment

Only Wales in Group A had a poorer ranking

England's hardest group for ages. Italy are better than us, Ukraine not what they were but still have some decent players, and North Macedonia are a bit like Hungary in being a small nation on a bit of an upswing.

Harry Kane will get 5 goals in his 2 games vs Malta though

When was the last time England actually beat Italy? Can only remember 1997 in that France 98 warm up. Obviously euros final and two recent nations league games weren't won and also didn't beat them in the famous qualification for France 98 nor some of the friendlies played in the 2000s so while everyone always thinks of Germany as England's bogey team going by records it's surely Italy.

We beat them 2-1 in a friendly in 2012 after they knocked us out of the Euros

Spurs refusing to release Kulusevski for Sweden's 2 upcoming friendlies against Mexico and Algeria ahead of the WC because the games are not on FIFA approved dates. Same goes for Mattias Johansson, Albin Ekdal, Carl Starfelt and Jens Cajuste.

Since Sweden didn't make the tournament the clubs don't have to release the players... Olsen and Augustinsson are both in the squad.
