UEFA Nations League final and 3rd place game today. The 3rd place game between Italy vs Belgium is a more interesting game for me comapred to the France vs Spain final.

Belgium B team makes less interesting

Jebus this is a dirty Spain side, it's like watching Spain from the 80's when they were pretty much thugs.

Ref Anthony Taylor better stamp this down or we'll have injuries a plenty

Dreadful game, France have been so poor. Spain and the fun sized defence slightly better

Spain are also playing one of the worst defenders around and France not challenged him once

Yes too many fouls. Taylor should have shown a couple of yellows at least. Mbappe has been extremely dissapointing.

VAR are checking.

They've checked, and the tournament would definitely benefit if the winning goal were scored by an international superstar.

No offside.

No yellow either for leaving the pitch when celebrating

France getting help from a referee, I would never believe it

Garcia stretched for the and touched it, which played Mbappe onside. But he only stretched for it because an offside player was also going for it.

Same shit as Mings against City but not as egregious.

Definitely. You either leave it and hope the player is offside or you do what you have been trained to do and try and intercept the ball.

It was the madness they used to justify the Man City, found a loop hole in their rules that had never ever been used before.. and now it’s here to stay.
