Our Villa squad fly out to Austria at the end of this week to build up their fitness with intense sessions under the watchful eye of Di Matteo and his coaching staff. The key, as always, is to get the players in tip-top shape ahead of the new campaign. Di Matteo has now arranged for Villa to face GAK Graz on Saturday, with a 6.30pm kick-off local time. This encounter will see our first team wear the new Under Armour home kit for the first time. Good to get RDM used to the players, and the players used to how RDM, Clarke and the others want them to play. Plus although they are supposedly fairly poor it should be 'competitive' at least, in that it's not just an all villa squad training match.
