Well he got the second, not the first. Sounds like he was comfortably better than Westwood and Gardner, so hopefully he breaks up that duo, at least until we have someone better. It worries me a lot that either he's not and/or that Steve Bruce is not picking him. If he can't get in ahead of those two muppets how bad is he? Hopefully it's just a fitness issue or a drinking problem or something we don't know about that he can sort out. We need all the midfielders we can get so gardner isn't ever in the team again. Ever. If a blind man can see it, then Steve Bruce almost certainly can too, which points to a reason not related to his ability as to why he hasn't featured much.
