Some of those sports I couldn't really give a floater about, and some like baseball I like but most of the names I know turned out to be on ze drugs, so I'm left with:

Footy: Messi

Tennis: Federer

Snooker: O'Sullivan

Golf: Woods

Rugby League: Burrow

Cricket: Lara/Warne/Pietersen

Rather obvious for the most part.  Actually I'm shocked at how narrow my sporting interests are.

Association Football - Maradona

Rugby Union - Lomu  (I'm not in any respect an expert in Rugby Union)

Rugby League - don't care

Cricket - tricky - Warne, Lara, Richards, Bob Willis, Cook - I think I'd plump for Botham because I was 10 or 11 and he was larger than life.

Boxing (Pound for Pound) - I'd love to say Tyson or Roy Jones Jr - but I'm going for Mayweather - to hit and not be hit is the aim of the game, he wasn't exciting but he was damned good.

Cycling -Indurain was probably the best in my time, but I'm going for Pantani because I love a climber.

Baseball - don't know enough to choose

Ice Hockey - that canadian fella with the mullet (don't care)

Basketball - Jordan? He's famous.

Darts - the caravan groper from Stoke, whatsisname.

Snooker- O'Sullivan

American Football - Barry Sanders

Canadian Football - what is Canadian football? I've never heard of it

Australian Rules Football - don't know enough about it to choose and don't really care

Hurling - don't care

Formula 1 - Senna

NASCAR - don't know any except the ones that used to drive F1 - don't care

Men's Tennis - Federer

Women's Tennis - Graf

Men's Golf - Woods

Women's Golf - don't know any - and I attend the Women's Open every year.

Greatest Race Horse - Red Rum

Seriously, what is Canadian football?

Chuck Norris

Actually the correct answer is Sylvester Stallone. He's been World Heavy Weight Boxing Champion, and played in goal against Germany.

*I really only know baseball history from the mid 90s onwards, but Ruth must have been crazy talented. My personal favourite is Mo but a RP can't be GOAT.

Cut the sports I'm not qualified to have an opinion on.

I don't watch all of those sports but I have somewhat of a holy trinity that I love and watch equally.

Basketball - Allen Iverson

Hockey - Alexander Mogilny

Football - Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

You know what, I take this back. As much as I loved Mogilny, Mats Sundin was my hero growing up and was a Leafs legend, so I change my hockey vote to him.

I like lists so I'll play. It will be dominated by players I've seen so don't expect too many people who were active more than 30 years ago.

Association Football  Leo Messi.

Rugby Union Martin Johnson

Cricket Shane Warne

Boxing (Pound for Pound) Muhammad Ali.  It's hard not to pick Roy Jones jr, but Ali's list of victims is the most impressive I've seen. He beat a who's who of heavyweight greats.

Darts Phil Taylor

Snooker Toss up between Hendry and Ronnie.  O'Sullivan was more talented but he lacks mental strength.

Formula 1 Senna

Men's Tennis Federer

Women's Tennis Graf

Greatest Race Horse Best Mate. The fact his jockey paraded the Gold Cup at Villa Park after every win probably influences me.
