I can run you through the signup offers and the general premise of it. Then you can teach me to understand the horse racing part of it!

I'm here. Don't understand it either, dutching an the like, looks a mission. Though did a cheeky "pays 5 places" on the horses at goodwood yesterday and bagged £55. :)

I'm wondering is this where the big money is, or as soon as the football starts, it'll be ok just doing football deals.

I don't even understand that part. I get the general idea of it but it seems like you're having to play with big sums of money because the odds are so high.

Mine was a little bit of a gamble. But its the same as each way. Like they will pay if your horse comes 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th for a quarter the odds. So I will generally back the first and second fav, don't lay. Bound to come up with something, or a couple of quid loss, if your very unlucky.

Well actually the higher the odds, the less you need to bet with!

But yes, the type of Dutching we're referring to doesn't require large funds but it certainly helps if you want to make a big profit. It's more the sort of thing to keep you busy after you've already made your first couple of £thousand. Something to do day-to-day in between all the big money-making offers that appear from time to time.

It's also an important technique to learn for Extra Place races which can yield sometimes 10-15% of your stakes, so if you save up £1k bank you can make 3 figure profits in 1 race. Do this a few times and it wont be long until you have a £2k bank and making £200+ in 1 race. That's how you may have been people making "ridiculous" profits over the last week. It also helps to be able to do multiples races, so that's how you can make use of even-more funds. The more you have, the more you can make.

But for 90% of the stuff we post, you can get involved with just a few £hundred without much bother, and it won't be long until that grows into your first £1k.

If you need help with the racing stuff, feel free to email me at support@profitsquad.co.uk or you can start a fb post asking for tips and get a convo going with the other members to see what they do to make their money.

I feel I should mention as I left that message the 13.50 race finished and I just managed to make £277 from a total stake of £740 :) which is a crazy %age, but these kind of results are admittedly not too common. But it's possible! Could have used £74 and still made £27.70 ;)

How's everyone getting on with this recently then?

The new customer offers for sports betting are without doubt a nice profit maker. The bingo offers seemed decent until I managed to get my account blocked (although in the end, it was an error on their side, so I'm almost good to go on them again). I still think the slots offers are bollocks though.

The slots are gambling, just with less risk. you can still lose all your money. Its just that with the promotional offers combined with a good paying slot you're statisitcally more likely to be in profit than to lose out. You could still put £10 in, wager the lot and end up with nothing.

Saying that though I did have a go on one of the others the other night. It was a bet £10 offer and get 10 free spins. I made just over £20 on the initial £10 stake and then with the 10 free spins won another £14.

I've not had much luck with the bingo recently, only made a couple of quid on the last 2 or 3 sites. Lots of the sites are not that good and you'll never be able to spend the bonus funds in time as they only have 3 or 4 open rooms.

I guess I'm somewhere between £300 and £400 up since joining which is good.

That's a good start Genie! Have you completed all of the sports sign-up offers? Do you do many calendar offers?

Also would just like to point out, we have a long list of 100% risk-free casino offers you can start with. Not every offer carries a risk (though most of the better ones do) but you're correct that we only post offers where you have the mathematical edge. Similar to how you can go into a casino where "the house always wins" and yet they might lose money to you as a 1-off, or even 2 or 3 times in a row. But sooner or later, if you keep going back - you will lose it all - the maths are rigged in their favour to ensure this. So the offers we post are kinda similar, except YOU are effectively the 'house' that always wins ;) it's rarely a dead-cert to win on any individual offer, but the more you do, the more chance you have of recouping your losses and ending in the profit you should have had.

Eg. if you did 10x offers with an Estimated Value (EV) of +£10 you may win some and lose some, but by the end of it on average, you would expect to be around +£100 in profit.

While you will find people that do not believe this to be true, that does not change the actual fact of the matter :D those people will have 1 thing in common, that they have only done a handful of these offers (or none at all) and merely got off to a slow start. Anyone who does these offers day-in day-out will tell you just how profitable they are. A prime example is the william hill loophole we posted in April that netted some members thousands of pounds. They still had to technically risk their money, but the odds were so heavily in our favour that the reward far outweighed the risk. Like a coin flip that pays out 10x more for heads. Wouldn't you pay to flip that coin all day? Any smart person would endure the occassional "tails" knowing that the "heads" will recoup all losses and much, much more.

I've done pretty much all of the initial sports offers, only 1 or 2 of the advanced ones. I've only ever done one or 2 of the calendar offers (made profit both times).

What I think would be helpful would be some kind of rating for each offer to capture to ease / profit / bank requirement so people can work through them easier.

That's not a bad idea - we'll have a think about how best to display such a thing. We already have several colours for the calendar offers to show expires/available/in progress/completed and we have figures to show the value (EV & GP figures) so adding in a difficultly rating that also considers available bank is something we can add in theory, just need to think about how to execute it without making it too complicated to look at.

Also, if you follow the directions on the 'start here' page and complete all of the sports signup offers, the risk-free casino offers, and start trying some of the other things we have to offer, you should be able to have saved up over £1,000 of profit before reaching the calendar, meaning you should be able to do virtually all offers (in terms of funds) we can't stress enough that spending your profits is effectively damaging your future income so try to save at least 50% of your profit until you have 1 or 2 grand ready to pounce on any big offers that come up all the time.

I took a hit on this last night. I opened a Unibet account and bet on Rio Ave v Slavia Prague to draw and then laid it on the exchange. They drew, so I won with the bookies and lost on the exchange, but then had my UniBet account blocked. It turns out I already had an account with them.

It would have been a profit, but I doubt I'll get my UniBet deposit/winnings and I also lost a lump on Betfair.

I'll need to start double checking before opening accounts from now on.

I would try, at the very worst case you should be entitled to your deposit back, its a genuine mistake after all. What have they said to you at this point? But yeah I would keep a record of what bookies you open up from now on so you know for future reference :)

Is it just me or does this offer imply that if you were to choose Newcastle for the first bet and they win you'll actually have qualified for both offers provided you bet £20?

Quote

The football season gets underway tonight with Fulham v Newcastle live on SS1 at 19:45. And we've got an offer to ensure you have a great Friday night!

Place a £20 single on the Match Betting market and if you win, we'll give you a £10 free bet.

Newcastle are favourites to win the Championship and bounce straight back to the Premier League at the first time of asking. You can back them at Evens to leave Craven Cottage with all three points.*

Place a £20 single on Newcastle to beat Fulham and you'll get £40 and a £10 free bet should the Geordies take all three points.

Looks like it at first glance but without reading the terms fully i wouldnt know 100%, check the terms to see if it says anything about only participating in one offer or something?

Meh, I went for it anyway. I'm sure it doesn't count for both but who knows!

Offer is at Stan James btw!

I finally signed up and with minimal fuss I’m up and running.

Dropped a bollock on my William Hill sign up offer by not meeting the required odds but they fixed it for me.  Cost me 36p with Betfair, but I’ve managed to swallow that ;)  Done the first two training videos and £22 up so far.  Can’t argue with that!

It's a little complicated at first but the tutorial videos make it simple to execute and I'm now starting to understand how it works and what I'm looking for.  Only drawback on a personal level is that having money going in and out of my bank account into different bookies will make my statements look a mess.  Tempted to open a separate bank account and load some cash into it to keep it separate.  Apart from that it all looks promising I think.
