With Redmond at 11m and Townsend at 12m we're talking 35m for three English players who couldn't even make the 23 man squad for the euros. It wouldn't shock me if English players combined moved for about 200m this summer which is just laughable after what we have witnessed in last few weeks. Compared to like nearly 50 mil for Sterling anyway, who haven't done anymore than Townsend. Its the players now that are going for 30 mil plus like Mane to Liverpool that baffle me. Its such a stupid valuation. £50m defenders do not sit on a bench watching Gary Cahill and Chris Smalling getting pulled to peices by Iceland. But i simply don't see how John Stones is a £50m player, or anywhere close in fact. Rapheal Verane is only 23, he is twice the player, and I think £50m would be stupid for him.
