It really sums up sports journalists and the entire news as a whole. You can see it here, and in that phone-scandal incident recently; they'll do anything, even ruin and destroy careers, just for a little bit of 'news'. The same collection of ego-maniacs, bullshitters and wannabe owners, whose clubs tend to fail when they interfere and do better when they don't. Chinese players are sold within the internal market at a premium because there is a shortage and the same can be said about English players in the Premier League. The Chinese government hands out favours to businesses they approve of and the UK government hands out stadiums to politically connected clubs, and hand public money to the FA for their vanity projects. The only difference is that when the Chinese government wants their involvement kept secret, it stays secret, and when the UK government want the details of their involvement kept secret, they drag out the process until it is too late to do anything about it, and then graciously submit when a court forces them to reveal the truth. Both FIFA and UEFA are corrupt because they accurately reflect the moral climate at every level of the game, from the don't-ask-don't-tell fans, through the lies and half-truths of every boardroom, to every nation's regulatory body.
