It seems that last weekend he was informed that his minority ownership shares were being converted into deferred shares, which means that he has no voting rights, will earn no dividend, and these deferred shares can be purchased by AVFC at any time for £1 a share. That would explain the extra £30 million in share value added on the 20/08/18.

Add to that the fact that there wasn't a Recon logo in sight at this morning's BMH press conference, and it demonstrates that our new owners are going quietly and efficiently about their business.

No recon in sight on the official website either. Although not sure how long that’s been the case.

Must have been a recent change as we've had Recon on almost everything Villa related until this week. The only remaining proof that Xia was here is Recon Training Facility, but I assume they are likely working to eliminate that tie to Recon as well.
