I mean bedding in 4 new players half way through a season is hard enough. If Xia and our workings out are accurate that another 3 are on the way, it'll 7 new players by the end of the window that's gonna be tough. I'd personally say it's the complete opposite and that the club is going all out to reach the playoffs but know these players will be here to challenge next season if necessary. Hi, This is not an attack on you personally, but I dont understand why many posters go on about "too many new players in" when some of the players we have (Hutton, Westwood, Gardner, Bacuna, Gaby along with Kozak & Richards taking up squad places and drawing wages, (add in the McC fiasco) are simply holding us back and cost us money EVERY week. Literally ANY signing loan/buy is better for the club, if not for this season but also next & beyond. We all know that Richards, Gaby, Bacuna & now (apparantly) McC have caused unrest. Westwood's association with the last 5 years Kozaks injury woes Hutton's uselessness followed by Bacuna's inconsistancy is simply no way to progress as a club. So instead of rinse & repeat Rid & replace We still have a chance at the playoffs simply because we have better players in now and who knows how other squads will handle the form and so many games in a season. Out chance is still there because of the unpredictability of this league. The teams that take advantage of that will be the top 6, and those who cant hack it or give up will finish 7th or lower. Why not us? Surely fielding the same players i.e. Hutton, Westwood, Gardner & Gaby will only reap the same results till now as not one has shown an improvement. - some may argue Gaby, but since his return has he been "the difference" Because thats what is needed. Players who make a difference. Anyway "Tony's Window" is not over yet. The more in the better The more of the shit/inconsistant/troublers out the better too.
