Popular Post Richard Posted May 17, 2016 Popular Post Posted May 17, 2016 How the **** these two weren't on the pitch together more often I'll never understand. Mind you we had the better pairing of Bacuna and Richardson didnt we, silly me 8
Gary Thomas Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 The one against Bournemouth on the opening day - the world looked bright and we were full of hope, blissfully ignorant of the carnage to come.
ismail-villa Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 The one against Bournemouth on the opening day - the world looked bright and we were full of hope, blissfully ignorant of the carnage to come. Oh how good things seemed after that win.
Dr_Pangloss Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Definitely Gil's goal, brilliant from Traore and an unbelievable finish. One of the few times I jumped out of my seat with excitement all season, but then we went a blew the game, as per usual.

It's Your Round Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Goal of the season was not to get relegated! That went well But yes, Gil's goal at Sunderland was pretty spectacular. The result ruined it somewhat though.
NoelVilla Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Gil scoread a good one against Leicester to and Ayew had a great one but that might have been in the Cup. We hardly scored and I can't remember them
Mark Albrighton Posted May 17, 2016 VT Supporter Posted May 17, 2016 On the rare occasions we actually hit the back of the net this season, we actually scored some rather good goals. From memory (not wanting to recall this season too often) I'd go... 1. Gil v Sunderland 2. Ayew v Newcastle 3. Gil v Leicester 4. Grealish v Leicester 5. Bennett v Notts County (purely as it was an unexpected end to one of the maddest games I've had the pleasure of being at) I think Ayew might have scored another good goal v Watford but not sure.
ferguson1 Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 (edited) All the suggestions in this thread are worthy in what has been a dire season (Gil especially). However, i do look back in fondness at Gestede's v Small Heath and don't ask me why, but his header at Anfield was bloody good too. Good thread amongst the doom and gloom. Mantis Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 It's weird actually, because although we've scored so few our ratio of good goals to normal/sloppy goals is probably really high. Probably has something to do with the lack of teamwork.
rubberman Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Surprised the own goals haven't had a vote. Sum up our season pretty completely. Hutton's couple then Bunn's to finish things off.
Zatman Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 for a team so shit we actually got some good goals this season but Ayew vs Newcastle for me though it also gave me a false illusion we had a chance 1
