penguin
Actually really looking forward to it and a bit nervous/apprehensive, can't remember the last time I really cared about an England game.

Couldn't care less what the kids do! They'll probably be watching it themselves.

No, I might work in a rough inner London school but they are very much banned. The kids don't even risk getting them out.
Stevo985 Posted June 16, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted June 16, 2016 I'm unnervingly excited for this game. Probably the most excited I've been since the FA Cup Final last year. And we all know how that turned out!
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Feels like the build up to a crunch Six Nations game. Weird.
coda
Reckon England will be nervous. If Hodgson was any good we'd be going into this game relaxed after a win. Need to silence baldy Bale.
Ryan.
Same England side that started against Russia. Sterling has to up his end game today we can't afford to waste good possession .

They did well and this vote of confidence from the manager might give them an extra boost. Sterling in particular owes Woy a massive performance. If they play as well as they did against Russia then Bales have their work cut out to keep up.
Stevo985 Posted June 16, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted June 16, 2016 This is so similar to Euro 96 as well. A disappointing draw in the first game after taking the lead. The second game against a home nation, manager keeps faith with the same lineup. Same outcome please

StefanAVFC
Not too bothered about unchanged line up but I would have dropped Sterling. He was horrific.
KHV
Still think this will end up being a draw resulting in a do or die game against Slovakia. Wales will score today I'm sure of that, it really depends if England get going up front and if Sterling turns up. He was like Tony Daley on a bad day against Russia the other night. sharkyvilla
Still a bit worried about the lack of goals in Lallana and Sterling to help out Kane and Rooney, but hopefully I'll be wrong.
