Any truth in the rumour that we are going to be closing 20% of the pitch next year as we don't think we will be using it either? The opposition goal mouth as its an area hardly used
Zatman
not surprised at all, opposition managers nearly always praise the pitch before playing us which is a credit to the staff
The Fun Factory
Its certainly better than the O'Leary days when it was hard as concrete and we kept on getting player injuries. Unfortunately the players have got far, far, worse.
sne
Well done! Shame about literally everything else about the club
AndyBM
joking a side of having a shit board and shit first team, everything else regarding the club is pretty spot on, the pitch has always looked fantastic, but wasnt we the first to use the type of surface that we do? a sort of half grass/half plastic woven heated netting structure type of thing? lol
sidcow Posted April 21, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted April 21, 2016 Pretty impressive considering our chief groundsman was poached last year. Is this another version of the Pearson conspiracy where the man at top is irrelevant and the real talent sit beneath
claretman
Well I for one am disgusted that they are not following club policy of being crap at everything. What happened to the mud heap/beach they produced during the 1996 FA Cup semi final a few years back which produced widespread criticism? Standards have slipped.
