With a massive dose of irony, We've just won the Barclays Premier League Grounds Team of the Year award. Also the playing surface has also been named as one of the best in the league. Grasshopper Posted April 21, 2016 Share Posted April 21, 2016 Well done lads slightly ironic that we win best playing surface prize while those playing on in deliver the worst playing ever seen. & The fact that better footballing teams have an advantage over us as the better pitch assists the better players. P.S. One can imagine visiting teams practicing passing and ball control a whole week before they come to VP, while we are busy NOT practicing throw-ins.
