They did not appear to have any reservations about the new owners, just about the old one and getting the sale done. I think those worrying are being unnecessarily pessimistic. Apart from suffering from the obvious nostalgic pull of local owners from the pre Sky era ( I can fully understand grieving for a lost age, but that is what it is) there is no reason at all to think we are at any more risk than if any other owner had bought us, and plenty reason to think we are at less risk. You know what ? For years when we got awarded a penalty and the crowd celebrated my lad and I (me carrying on the habit from my Dad) would react no different than if we'd won a throw in. The thinking was "we will probably miss it, anyway getting awarded a penalty is nothing - we will celebrate if/when we score" Then one day the penny dropped - if we missed it, we'd be gloomy, as would all those who had celebrated us getting awarded it. But at least they had already had the happiness of celebrating it being awarded................................so from then on we celebrated when we got awarded one.
