ReasonforRevolution
This doesn't look good. Untenable! It has took him a month to realise we can't be saved. I really hope it doesn't get worse before it gets better but nothing would surprise me.

S-Platt Posted April 18, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted April 18, 2016 Not good no news on season tickets either probably wanted a reduction and got told no chance so resigned on principle

DCJonah
Well this just confirms the fear that Lerner was never going to let control go to someone else. I did hear a rumour about a month ago that Lerner was planning to take out the parachute payments to reclaim as much money as possible and then sell on the cheap. I hope this rumour doesn't have any substance to it.

Popular Post mrchnry
I think they will have realised they were being stitched up and their appointments were simply PR.
omariqy
What does that mean 'don't lend themselves to compromise'?

Sam3773
What does that mean 'don't lend themselves to compromise'? To me it sounds like Lerner doesn't want to spend, the board know they need money to spend and no agreement can be reached with Lerner to put money into the summer. Just speculating but not surprising.
GENTLEMAN
Maybe Lerner wants Moyes and the board want another manager? or vice versa

I'm guessing that Randy has overruled them on something major. I'm hoping it's getting Moyes in instead of someone they wanted but it's not going to be something good like that is it

I assume they felt very strongly about something and have been told point blank they can't have it. My guess something like budget, or who they think the new manager should be...

blandy Posted April 18, 2016 Moderator Share Posted April 18, 2016 They probably owe it to the supporters to explain why.
