Sid4ever Posted April 17, 2016 Share Posted April 17, 2016 So disappointing to lose like that, our best result since 2009, and sitting in the West Stand the united fans were apoplectic when Martial ran it into the corner on 86 minutes. The fans as always did us proud, a point echoed by the casual MUFC day trippers in the hotel afterwards. Funniest part of the day was striking up a conversation with a gentleman from Worcester walking into the doom theatre who showed he his video of snow falling when he left, to which I said it's good to see you are still travelling and supporting the Villa which made him rather angry as he told me to f**k off and that we were shit. Sang for most of the 90 minutes. I counted one chant from the Stretford end. I was in the opposite corner to our fans, but they were very noisy all game. Well done all who went.
