Anyway, I'm not normally a jump to conclusions type of person but every time I've given the club and those involved with it the benefit of the doubt I've been let down. The club have filed a trademark for a crest that matches exactly the mails description, I'd say we can be fairly confident that it's the new badge. We don't know for sure but as it has been filed as an EU trademark and it matches the description the media are reporting, I would say it's 95% certain. Also, it has been filed under so many classifications that it pretty much can't not be the new badge as by doing so they're sort of saying that they will be using the badge on all merchandise and other items (such as the kit). I don't think that could be the case as it is so similar to our current badge that (almost ironically) use of this 'new design' would definitely be trade mark infringement anyway as well as a breach of copyright and definite passing off.
