It's a lot easier to just have digs online while doing **** all, I guess. Full credit to them, at the very least, the players and board are under no false impresssions.
ismail-villa
The only thing more embarrassing than the performance was the "protest". Changes nothing, helps nothing, fans look like morons and makes us a laughing stock to every other team. How was it embarrassing?
Popular Post Bunnski
If grown men spending time at home making a banners Blue Peter style is "giving a damn" then I'm glad I dont give a damn. The players and management dont give a shit what the fans have to say and why the hell would they? Its arrogant to think their voices are important enough to be listened too. Take a trip down to the fish mongers and buy yourself a whole fish, then please proceed to slap yourself across the face with it...

At least there were some people in claret and blue at Villa Park who gave a s***.

I think the anti Lerner stuff is past its best time but the protest showed passion, commitment, desire, and love for the Club. It made me proud of the guys there.

adam67
I think the protest was needed.I dont think it makes Villa fans look moronic, I liked how BT Sport showed crowd shots and didn't try to 'hide' it by cutting away to the drudgery happening on the pitch. We go again etc etc...

What foreign mercenaries? It's the British contingent who have been at the heart of Villa's problems.
AntrimBlack
I thought the protest looked great on screen. Loads of banners, even at the end, and the stewards forced to let them be this time. Kudos to everyone who protested. Well done. Keep it up. The players may go down without a whimper, but the fans won't.
turnbull
I'd pick 15 of our useless squad to play a game of rugby and tell them to put the same amount of effort in as they have this season. I'd also have 15 ambulances standing by. Gutless tawts.
Upper north stander
I reckon I got the biggest cheer of the day today for one of my paper airplanes making it on to the pitch Edited April 2, 2016 by Uppernorthstander
Popular Post OutByEaster? Posted April 2, 2016 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted April 2, 2016 In amongst that carnage there were reasonable performances from one or two individuals - not good performances, but enough so they don't have to be ashamed. Ayew looked a threat, particularly in the first half, Gil looked lively for a while, Gana and Hutton give you what they have. In the just about okay camp you can have Cissokho, Westwood and Gestede and Grealish had a decent cameo. Morale is rock bottom, luck is out (the Ayew deflection goes in on a better day) and the referee was utter rubbish. None of that was really important. Richards never broke out of a saunter, he and Lescott are the worst pairing in the league, and I think they'd struggle to be described as capable even in the next league, Sanchez is an accident waiting to happen and once the penalty was given, we quit. Chelsea quit once they'd added a couple more goals - I thought Ruben Loftus-Cheek looked very impressive for them and is exactly what we don't have. The protest was good, there were a lot of banners on display and the whole thing was delivered well - the paper planes provided plenty of entertainment. Another game nearer the end. Hopefully another game nearer the beginning.

villa4europe
Protest was good...but booing your own players just sits wrong with me, no matter what they have done! If it makes the likes of Guzan and bacuna think "I don't want to be here next season" then I've got no problem with it It isn't November and I've got worries about their confidence and for the good of the team this that and all the other bollocks, were finished this season, we're going down, I want these clowns to be under no illusion that I think it's their fault
