How can you call him a plonker when you don't even remember his name?

Cause he has one of those funny sounding foreign names ;) doesn't matter about his ability,  if he hasn't got a plain ol British name like nige, Gary or Dave he can't be good enough for some of us in the great labyrinth which is the championship.

Wonder what Pellegrini will be up to next? Surely way out of our league of course but he will be available. Is that the MM i wonder :P

I can see it now. Picks up his champions league winners medal than declares hes heading down the M6.

Championship club Hull City say they would not welcome an approach from Aston Villa for manager Steve Bruce.

Bruce, 55, is a candidate to succeed the sacked Remi Garde, along with Nigel Pearson, David Moyes and Sean Dyche.

"No approach had been made nor would one be welcome," a spokesman for Hull, fourth in the table, told BBC Sport.

I see Gary Neville is now available, ain't gunna happen but at 80-1 I wouldn't be overly gutted (Also have Woy & Martinez at 80-1)

I know it's just odds...

...but Gary Neville is now in to 12/1 on WillHill.

Other notable "candidates":  Gareth Southgate (14/1), Ryan Giggs (16/1), Stiliyan Petrov (25/1), Paolo Di Canio (33/1), Thierry Henry (50/1)
