Rds1983 Posted March 24, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted March 24, 2016 Moyes is Randy's number one pick and has been for years. As great a manager as he might be, that puts me off him.

He's a million miles ahead of shit like Bruce, Pearson, McCarthy etc. Replacing Garde with Moyes is a great outcome.

Davkaus
This is what I'm reminded of when Villa fans think Moyes isn't good enough for us.
Woodytom
Nobody is saying he's not good enough. We're all saying we'd take him an heartbeat. That doesn't mean he's not a poor manager. Just means we are super, super shit!!
Isa
Poor manager? Tough crowd. It's only been three years since he left Everton but seemingly his eleven year reign there counts for nothing.
bose
What Moyes did with Everton was fantastic. Didn't get enough time at United and had a tough time in a new country with Real Sociedad. Very good manager IMO.
DCJonah
3 years ago he was given one of the biggest jobs in world football. To have him agree to come to us in the championship would be incredible.

MrDuck
A few years ago, would have loved Moyes. Not so sure now. Would prefer Pearson.

coda
I don't believe the Moyes link but it would be a welcome appointment. Doesn't change the larger problem of our owner.

Yeah, really. Although he may statistically be Villa's worst manager it's blatantly obvious that he's working blindfolded with both hands tied behind his back. If the way the club is run is improved then I'd like to see him given a chance but if it isn't then we're **** even with somebody like Moyes.
