More brown people, less Europeans. Just like leavers wanted.

Giving up all the economic benefits of being in the EU was worth it to get control of the orders... oh

Calling all white people of the former colonies. You're all invited to return to the mother country, pick our fruit, serve our beverages and wipe the arses of our elderly... Oh...

Government hiding key Settlement Scheme data, inspection report suggests

Quote

The Home Office has been concealing important data about the EU Settlement Scheme, an independent inspection report suggests. While the department refuses to release the number of “disguised refusals”, or to disclose gender breakdowns relevant to its equality law obligations, it appears to have had that information at its fingertips all along.

...

This post zooms in on disguised refusals and equalities monitoring, which raise concerns about the Scheme’s outcomes and transparency.

Just goes to show the Government have absolutely no control over the borders and seemingly never will.

Our president spoke to us yesterday and told us that Downing Street said the UK wouldn't be seeking regulatory alignment with Europe for our industry (Aerospace).

Then when basically every aerospace company in the UK said "what the **** do you mean? There would be literally no point in us being in the UK" they said something like "oh no we didn't mean that. We're looking into it"

UK ‘Will Leave’ EASA, Says British Transportation Secretary

Quote

WASHINGTON—The UK will withdraw as a member state of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) after a transition period and shift responsibility for aircraft certification and safety regulation to its own Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), British Transportation Secretary Grant Shapps said.

“We will leave EASA,” Shapps said Mar. 6 during an exclusive interview with editors from Aviation Daily and ATW. “A lot of the expertise they have is UK expertise, in fact. A lot of the key leading lights were Brits.”

Shapps, in Washington for meetings with U.S. officials, said the withdrawal from Cologne, Germany-based EASA was being negotiated at EU headquarters in Brussels. The break will happen after Dec. 31, when EU law no longer applies to the UK.

“So, the powers will revert to the CAA, who are probably one of the world’s leading regulators and the expertise will need to come home to do that, but we’ll do it in a gradual way,” Shapps said.

Thinking ahead a few months, and the clean up operation is underway. I assume a lot of EU member states are going to be looking to the EU for cash and loans to get them going again. The costs could be astronomical.

I’ll whisper it quietly, but could we be in a really strong position come 01/01/21 out of the EU and maybe even in a no deal scenario?

We could do what the EU are terrified about and undercut them across the board.

What’s up?

Is it not acceptable to discuss the economic impact of the virus and our new role outside of the EU on a message board?

It’s your predatory instincts that are on the nose. A bit like Trump who’s apparently trying to corner the market and get exclusive rights to a vaccine.

Mate, it's a public forum. Discuss what you want. But don't be surprised when your thread about profits to be made from your coffin investments don't win you much support.

I’m just some guy speculating on a discussion forum.
Trump allegedly trying to cash in on a cure could not be a more more distant comparison.

As I wrote to @LondonLax I’m in no position to benefit from what I write on here.

Its like suggesting those who comment in the dead pool thread are murderers.
