What team will we see next season?

Regardless of whether our current squad is good enough to stay up and everybody stays, we desperately need new blood to freshen up the place.

In the case of GK for example, Bunn is a No.2 even at Championship and Guzan is shot to shit.

It isn't good enough to look at these players experience or CVs, we need fresh blood, new characters.

Calum Robinson 2 in 2 for PNE...guess he'll be an option next season aswell.

2 in 2? Not having a go or anything but that's hardly a solid endorsement. 10 in 10 maybe or even something like 8 in 10 but I think you need to look at form over more than just two games if you are suggesting he could play for us.

A shit one more than likely. Let's face facts here, unless we motivate ourselves into sorting this mess out they will think nothing of selling any assets we have in the summer and leaving us with the dregs and whatever the new manager can cobble together with limited funds.

We're absolutely ****, basically. Unless we ourselves act.

if none of the current first team have the motivation to want to stay in the league then where will the club stand next season in the championship? even less motivation, proping up the championship?

take richards and lescott for example, arent they both meant to be villa supporters? with that in mind (i could be wrong) youd think they would forge a solid partnership and want to keep this club in the premier league, but theyre both awful.

I fully expect to see the U21s playing next season. Most of the new signings all had relegation release clauses (allegedly) so they will be gone. Even if its on a free the chairman will want the players off the wagebill. So hopefully we see a team full of players that wants to play for the shirt!

Any and all players will be available for sale as we simply can't afford to carry their wages.

Some will move as there might still be some interest in them (Richards, Amavi when back to fitness, Adama, Sinclair, Ayew... others we will be stuck with as their wages are just too high compared to what they offer Gabby, Hutton, Westwood...

Those out on loan will return and some of the U-21's will get game time.

As for new signings they will be cheap and underwhelming

I wondered that. Sadly his contract is up at the end of the year apparently though so we are more than likely to end up facing him

For me its akin to walking up and down the High Street with a Socialist worker placard proclaiming that Tories only support the rich and ignore the poor, blah, blah, blah. Apart from (probably) being totally wrong, it is totally pointless and will achieve absolutely nothing apart from making the placard carrier feel good about him/her self.

Maybe the placard carrier needs to feel good about himself right now?

Daring to bring this back on topic.

I'd like them to put Adama one side, Grealish on the other with Gestede [or someone who can head a ball] and Ayew [or someone who can run onto a ball] and play much, much wider than we currently do and look at getting the ball to either winger quickly to look for the two chaps up front.

half the team looks good on paper (the other half clearly doesn't) however, all of the first team are low on morale and confidence, even those that we know can perform, aren't.

something is clearly going on in the dressing room, after all the managers the club has gone through, that's clearly not the problem, so there's no way we can go into next season with the same squad, we still won't see where the next win will come from if that's the case.

new keeper

new rb - new cb - clark - amavi

traore - new dm - veretout - grealish

ayew - gestede
