A'Villan
McGinn & Grealish - Two rare apex predators who inhabit the Premier League of England. Their blood runs claret and blue and they have a tendency to defecate on Birmingham City.
A'Villan
Harpy Eagle - who doesn't love an eagle with an afro! Jaguar - Known to eat psychedelic plant for the purpose of tripping out, it also knows martial arts, employing a technique with it's paws to snap the neck of it's prey. Lyrebird - Capable of mimicking any sound in the world apparently, even the sound of a truck or train horn, these beautiful birds are local to the rainforest I grew up in. Goats - I used to own a couple back on the mountain rainforest. If you want your unruly backyard to be stripped back to bare, f*** a gardener, you need a goat! Since this thread has been bumped, I realise I never answered the question about why I hit a goat with a baseball bat, so I shall belatedly put that to rights now. When our kids were little we had a holiday in a cottage on a farm in Devon. We drove up and were greeted by a madly barking dog, which unnerved me a little, as I'm not good with dogs. The lady who owned the place came out and assured us that the dog was completely harmless (which he was - turned out to be delightful, and great with the kids), but what we had to watch out for was the goat - pointing to a malevolent looking creature lurking near the house. She advised me that there was a baseball bat propped by the door, and that if the goat gave us any trouble I should whack it on the head as hard as possible until it backed off. Cruelty to animals not being in my nature, I found this hard to imagine, and indeed wondered if I was the victim of some sort of elaborate rural wind-up of gullible city folks. I soon had the chance to find out, as the next day I was about to go out to the car, when the bloody thing stood up on its hind legs (making it as tall as me), lowered its horns and ran at me full tilt. I didn't hesitate - grabbed the bat and swung at the evil creature's forehead with all my might. It was like hitting reinforced concrete. But it stopped for a moment, dropped to four legs and came at me again. I took another swing, and after three or four resounding blows, it reluctantly stopped and slowly backed off, glaring satanically at me all the way. Fortunately, that was the only time it was out loose for the rest of the holiday, and it remained confined in a distant field. Bastard thing. 4

I've always had a fascination with the thylacine, probably helped by the fact it's one of the more plausibly 'still extant' extinct large vertebrates on the planet. PussEKatt
I know that Meerkats are not cats but they have Kats in their name ( as in PussEKatt ) so I included them.

I went to Komodo a couple of years back ... few weeks before our visit , one of the dragons attacked and bit a ranger in a surprisingly well launched cunning attack ... he died in absolute agony .. took about a week with that info in hand , i then went for a Darwin award as I got myself a photo with one and an extreme close up of its paw (tbf they a pretty much pathetically dormant once the sun is out as they just lay there and warm up ) , Fascinating animals .. the babies live in trees for the first few months / years , otherwise they would just be food for mum and dad , they also stake out watering holes and build cunning hidey holes and then when Bambi comes along for a drink ..BAM ... one bite , and then they follow Bambi around for a few days / weeks until it dies , in absolute agony .. and yep , they can swim , saw a few of them doing so . One of the the best things about Komodo is you spend the night in the middle of the ocean in a small boat , around sunset a man rows out from a nearby island and tries to sell you ice-cold beer .. Needless to say he underestimated me and my mates thirst and had to go back and get some more Read just last week , that in order to try and protect the dragons , the park entry fee is $1000 a head now ... ahhhh travel ...how i've missed you Edited November 3, 2020 by tonyh29 3

Eventually I turned the sofa over and found him tucked up in bed like he was waiting for me to give him a bedtime story .. I took him to the mouse sanctuary in the woods near me where all the other rescue mices go ( real place , not one that I make up for the kids like Doggy heaven ) Edited November 3, 2020 by tonyh29
