sir_gary_cahill
He's scored for the u21s tonight, has anyone seen him play?
sir_gary_cahill
He seems to be banging in goals at every level he's played at, why not give him a chance in the first team?
sir_gary_cahill
It was the first time I had seen this lad play for us tonight and I was very impressed, he's very quick and strong and has a brain to go with it. You could definitely see why we've bought him, he made Arsenal's defenders look like mugs at times, great performance from him

Seems to watch play unfold and react accordingly, even if he's not going to get the ball.

There is a chance definitely but it is worth remembering that he is only 18 years old but he is a great talent, no doubt about that and he is also seems like a very nice guy
TrentVilla Posted July 17, 2016 Moderator Share Posted July 17, 2016 By all accounts from what I'm told he is the one to keep an eye on from the youth players. A bit raw but real talent.
Popular Post StanBalaban
Stevenage release When Keinan Davis was told he would never cut it as a professional footballer his boyhood dreams appeared to be over. After years of walking a six-mile round trip to get to the academy at Stevenage FC, the teenager was released with a parting message that he would never make the grade. Two years and a Match Of The Day shout-out later, Davis is pulling out all the stops to prove his doubters wrong. Development “If there’s one weakness in his game, and Keinan will admit this, it’s his right foot. He needs to work on it.” In time the creases will be ironed out at Bodymoor Heath. Academy chiefs are already excited to see how he develops in the future and have spoken positively about his attitude and work ethic. “He won’t fail for being lazy, that’s for sure,” added Northfield. Attitude This is a youngster who used the brave the adverse weather conditions to get to training by feet after finishing school. In two months at Villa, he has come a long way. The striker has the security of an 18-month contract and he’s now training in top-class facilities with one eye on further first-team involvement in the future. Davis understands that he was given his recent opportunity because of injuries to Libor Kozak and Rudy Gestede. But when he looks back to those days of uncertainty only a few months ago, he can’t help but smile at where he finds himself today. Just some background on the lad http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-feature-youngsters-rise-10869601
Popular Post YLN
I think one of his weaknesses is that he never in his years at stevenage thought of getting himself a bike
dont_do_it_doug.
Interesting prospect this lad. He's had to fight for his place yet it seems like a bit of an oddity, like he should never have been in that position. Everything I've read and heard about him suggests a special talent and a future in the top tiers, if not the very top tier. I'll be watching this one.

DCJonah
I said it in another thread but as a club we've been terrible at bringing this kids into the first team. Look at the next gen winning team, nowhere to be seen. Part of rebuilding this club should be putting more emphasis on getting kids like this into the first team and teaching their potential with us.
