jacketspuds
1st goal was offside as the West Ham player interfered with Cissokho's marking. However, Ayew is the main reason we lost this game but it was good to see the rest of the lads put a real shift in. Post-match conference from Garde highlights that he has been shafted by the club. Can't see him being here at the end of the season. EDIT - Rio Ferdinand is such a thick ****. Edited February 2, 2016 by jacketspuds

Popular Post OutByEaster? Posted February 2, 2016 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted February 2, 2016 It's hard to get angry at games - we are what we are, we're better organised, but completely unconfident, we've got some quality, but we've got huge gaps in the squad where there isn't any, we're not a million miles away from most of the teams in this league, but we're a little behind just about all of them. I honestly think if you restarted the season again tomorrow, we'd be okay in terms of staying up. As it is, the players are broken, the manager is almost broken, the CEO is almost broken, the new Chairman is a cruel misfortune and the owner is completely broken, We're a busted club needing a new start - you'd think with that in mind we'd have begun preparing for the Championship - but no, there's a paralysis over the place - from Lerner, through Hollis and into every area of the club. Popular Post HanoiVillan
Well, the results are in. I know the excitement has been building, but finally we can reveal the winner of the 'how many times will Gabby touch the ball today challenge' (snappier name to be added later) and congratulations to the winner, for one person guessed exactly correctly! Congratulations @Pilchard! 34 times Gabby touched the ball, brilliant guesswork. I promised no prizes, but since people were so keen on the competition, I thought I'd create one, so well done Pilchard, here is your prize:

matrim
Started brightly and looked decent. Then Awey had a moment of madness and got sent off. We defended reasonably well and for most of it but it was always a matter of time until they scored. Ref was shit
Pilchard
Woohoo! Thanks @HanoiVillan ! Now I know how the Villa team has felt TWICE this season! Edited February 2, 2016 by Pilchard Forgot its two wins not one

Popular Post rubberman
Can we do the Gabby touch sweep every week - it gives us something to look forward to for the next 4 months at least.

onmeedson
Training game for west ham didn't have to get in second gear, we beat ourselves with the lack of discipline at this club. Sometimes you have to stand up and give your all as a team not as silly little boys.
One For The Road
Jordan Ayew, you are a **** . That is all.
Paul33
No complaints about the manager or the ten who finished - they mostly gave their all and were the better team early doors. Ayew may be our most gifted player but if the club sacked him tomorrow then I'd applaud them for doing so. A totally selfish act that showed no consideration for his team or our club and I would seriously question his attitude after that.
mwj
In Ayew's defence, at least Creswells mouth was leaking red afterwards... Was a good 'un!

thunderball
Interesting that there is only 3 pages of post match comment. We have all given up, everything has been said, we are going through the motions until it's finally confirmed. The championship is going to be a relief. You can probably include MON in that too, so really after about 18 months of Lerner arriving.
GeordieVillan
Defence was good, as it has been for the last month. We invited pressure on ourselves when we down to 10 men, as we didn't have out ball. I would have brought Sinclair on Gil, and had him and Bacuna trying to join Gabby, but more than anything else I would have put Gabby right on the shoulder of the last defender so they had to keep at least 2 defenders back. As it was, James Collins was running into our box for crosses thoughout the second half, as we had no chance of a counter attack. Our approach with 10 men was as frustrating as the reason we were down to 10 men. I also thought Gana was excellent, after his howler on Saturday.
