Lichfield Dean Posted January 23, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted January 23, 2016 As much as Norwich losing this game would be better for our extremely remote survival hopes, I must say I am enjoying them make Liverpool look completely stupid :-)

Lichfield Dean Posted January 23, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted January 23, 2016 Naismith would really have suited us. His movement is so good off the ball. Liverpool are shocking.
PieFacE Posted January 23, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted January 23, 2016 Yup really wish we signed Nsismith. Movement is so good. Something we lack hugely.
StanBalaban
We're so conditioned as to what a big fee is these days, but £8m quid is the going rate for any PL standard footballer these days. Put in perspective, Steve Stone cost us £5.5m in 1999. Good player for Norwich. Experienced, wants regular football and has a good attitude by all accounts. Zatman
Imagine if Rodgers went to Norwich and was losing while playing no strikers and having a 32million player on the bench Klopp is getting away with murder
OutByEaster? Posted January 23, 2016 Moderator Share Posted January 23, 2016 The new TV deal means fees have started to massively increase even compared to where they were 12-18 months ago - there's talk of Man Utd being linked with Ryan Bertram in the papers today, for more than £20m. If you want to know what a player is worth, take what you think he was worth last summer and double it - it's ridiculous at the moment. Klopp is in a difficult spot - it's brilliant being a quirky character when you're winning, you're seen as larger than life, cavalier, a free sprit - when you're losing, those characteristics are viewed in a whole different way, I don't think Clop's career can withstand too much of a down turn; if people lose faith in his personality, he's done. He's on very rocky ground right now.
