omariqy
Anyone? Trying to install an application and I keep getting an error 'unable to launch application'. Under wrapped exception it states 'java.io.IOException: missing version response from server'

IT guys have no idea what is going on. It's almost always something in security settings in the control panel. It is possible it's poorly written code which is expecting a specific (range of) version of the JRE.

omariqy
Thanks. There's not much on there to change to be honest. Enable java in browser and security level (high or very high).

Tayls
Do work of thin clients at your place or do you have proper desktops? (Do you log in on the computer and then log onto Citrix or something along those lines? Have you tried using a work laptop to run this as well to see if there are any restrictions?
