useless Posted August 27, 2016 Share Posted August 27, 2016 Don't think we should be relying on De Laet playing anywhere other than right-back. He played at left-back for a spell last season, and by the accounts that I've read didn't do very well. I've never heard of him playing in central defence, but from what I've read defending isn't his strength, it's attacking. Someone like Cissokho is more likely to go into the centre of defence in the case of injuries.
