Transfer Speculation Summer 2016

A lot is going to depend on our wage budget, more than the transfer fees involved. Some PL loans would be good though.

Patrick Bamford is on loan at Norwich, who look to be heading down with us. Would be fantastic back in the Championship.

Charlie Austin hasn't exactly pulled-up any trees at Southampton. Gettable? I'm not sure, but would like a loan attempt as it could be good for both parties.

Charlie Adam is another. Got a year left on his Stoke contract but not getting much playing time.

We'll need a good keeper. Really can't bear to see Hutton stifling any attack from RB either.

how did the topic of conversation get onto raiding leicester? theres just as much chance as raiding city or united.

league 2 is where the club is going to have to pick from

Why? Many Championship clubs take players on loan from Premiership clubs.  We will be a big fish down there and don't therefore believe league 2 is the only place we can pick from.

I do think we'll be able to pick up players on loan from the Premier League, they just won't be especially good ones. You've got to think, what's the calibre of player we've loaned to the Championship? Baker, Steer, Gardner, Daniel Johnson. So that's the sort of player we'll be able to get.

players have still got to want to come to us, and who in their right mind would want to come to us

Takeover happens: new manager, big money, biggest club in the league etc.  Young Premiership players want game time, not to just sit in the stands at a big club.  Maybe I am being a tad unrealistic here but would rather hope than just except the doom and gloom.

Probably a long shot, but what about Munir el Haddadi on loan, he isn't going to be a starter at barca for a while so they may think that a loan will help develop him.

Has played with Traore before so may be able to get the best out of him as well...

Traore Grealish Green

             El Haddadi

would be exciting for once.

That Fred Friday has now scored 8 in 9, is aged 20 and looks 42. Get him in.

And that Wasilewski from Leicester, just for the beard. partner him with Baker and those beards will be unbeatable.

If we were in the premier league we'd have a slim chance, in the championship we have no chance at all whatsoever of this sort of signing.

Jordan Cousins for Charlton ? Good talent in an otherwise poor team. Would get him for handy money too with them going down.

Ademola Lookman is worth looking at also for Charlton. Very good player

Should Leicester have big money to spend now and want to attract some better players, we could look at one or two buys/loans from them?  Thinking along the lines of Ulloa, Dyer, Inler, Simpson etc.  Also watching MOTD last night Bournemouth have some good forwards at their club, wonder if we could attract one from them (ie King, Wilson)?  Would have thought Afobe, Grabban and Iturbe are first choice.  They also have Gradel behind them.  Could be worth a look but seeing Gayle at Palace yesterday, he would be great playing off Gestede surely?

Haven't been watching Bournemouth much as Iturbe has played about 2 games for them since signing in January!

Wilson is just lacking fitness, will be first choice again at start of next season.

Now Dwight Gayle is a much better shout...lad knows how to score but he signed a new deal the other week at Palace didn't he?

Dyer or Grabban the only two of those who might move to a Chumpionship club.

think Glenn Murray be a good signing and would probably come here

Goldson from Brighton looks very good he will be a future prem player, he's from Wolverhampton so i'm sure he wouldn't mind a move back to the midlands .

I also like the look of Chris Martin for Derby.  If Alan Judge recovers i wouldn't mind him too.

We need a team that can go up to Rotherham on a Tuesday night and not get rolled over. This current crop would sadly

Good shout.

He would score 12+ goals in the championship I think, and for Bournemouth he is not irreplaceable.
