KJT123
Disgusting. Newcastle were there for the taking today. Adama would've been perfect to bring on against Dummett who couldn't cope with Ayew.
limvillian
Ayew is far too good to be on this Villa squad . Sanchez was muck but not as bad as the featherweight Gana. Pathetic in the last 10-15 from both the players and manager being happy with a draw.
jim
Get Garde out now and get someone in who can build for when we are in the championship.
Popular Post VillanousOne
For those wanting attacking subs I get it, but everytime we bring on Grealish or Traore we leave gaps and lose. Not defending the manager as we are still poor but i can't blame him for not wanting to take any risks.

Disagree. When you do well, don't change it. Could've done with a sub late when we were scared in the end again.

Popular Post OutByEaster? Posted December 19, 2015 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted December 19, 2015 I love how angry Ayew is with everyone after the final whistle - he's been giving Sanchez an absolute earful as they came off the pitch. We need three's, but I don't think this is a bad point. In defence, we look slightly more solid with Okore in there but desperately need a left back. In midfield, we need to figure out how to minimise the risk that comes from Sanchez's inevitable mistakes, and maybe put Gana on the same course. Veretout is a neat and tidy footballer, I like him. Up front, Ayew is looking better and better, but we need to figure out who else we're going to put around him. We were away and we didn't lose - that'll do for today. It's not what we want, but it's acceptable.
jackbauer24
I said the season either started or ended today. It ended. Point isn't good enough, we were awful first half and even in the second half they were more likely to get the winner in the last ten minutes where we looked happy with the draw. Ayew is only player who played well and he was pretty anonymous first half. This squad is awful, only 5 or 6 first team signings that settle immediately, a lot of luck with injuries and at least two other teams completely collapsing will change our fate.
supernova26
Remi Garde will be delighted with that point. The guy is a totally awful manager and a giant prick as well. Props to Ayew Henry who literally got us that point on his own. He needs players around him, not clowns like Gestede and Sinclair. snowychap
Much better in the second half but we really could have done with the win and I don't know why we were dicking around with it on that last throw in as it looked like we had settled for the draw. Excellent effort from Ayew in that second half and a damn good goal. I'd have thought, like a few others, that a sub or two (not sure about who for whom, though) in the last ten minutes might have been a good idea as it had turned in to a hell of a slog. Mantis
Meh, 1 point more than I expect at least but we need to start winning games.
Davkaus
Ayew is possibly the only Premier League quality footballer in that 11. Hutton is probably second.
Popular Post Djemba_Villan
I sincerely believe that the conditions were the opposite of those needed for Adama, Grealish or Gil today. Frustrating as it is.
Frobisher
75-80 minutes was as perfect a situation to bring on Traore as we're going to get. For once we weren't behind and chasing, leaving him with so much space to run into. I don't understand it. A draw was as good as a loss anyway. Popular Post thunderball
Baffled why with 2 minutes left and in their half we played time wasting, like we were winning and running down the clock. Zero desire.

What the **** is with shite like that? What on Earth has Remi Garde done to be a giant prick? Weren't you not happy when we scored? Pathetic.
Brumstopdogs
Gestede is certainly more worthy of a starting place for our next match than Sinclair based on that performance. Ayew is a real star -always give us a chance of a goal. Need to start more attacking for the next one.

Skruff
Throwing in Adama, Gil or Grealish at that moment would be suicidal imo. Edited December 19, 2015 by Skruff
