The_Rev
For some perspective, our points totals since 2000/01 have been: 50 (last season) 42, 47, 56, 45, 50, 54.
Stevo985 Posted August 8, 2007 VT Supporter Share Posted August 8, 2007 At the moment I think we'll improve on last year, but not by much, so I said 51-55. However, given what happens in the next 3 weeks, I may change my mind.

ThunderPower_14
we'll have a similar year to last year, but our improved goalscoring power (IMO) will see us convert 4 or 5 of those draws to wins.
Harry_Holte
we'll have a similar year to last year, but our improved goalscoring power (IMO) will see us convert 4 or 5 of those draws to wins. I can't agree with that. A lot of those draws in early season were only gained via an inordinate number of penalties being awarded to us. That's unlikely to happen again, so the extra goals we will doubtless score will only compensate us for the fewer penalties we're likely to be awarded. Add into the mix the fact that we acknowledge our defensive options aren't exactly sparkling and I reckon we'll do about the same as last season, maybe two or three points better, but no more than that. 51- 54 points, I reckon. Rodders
what we can't choose -20 points for being rubbish in the transfer window? Oh damn. Sarcasm aside, I reckon 56-62, and top 8.

Rodders
phrasing it as mediocre heaven seems a bit off Rocafella, that would infer we were stagnating rather than progressing. yes it's likely we'll finish in the upper reaches of mid table, but all as part of a steady plan. I don't know if that was intentional or not I just read it that way, seems a little pessimistic.
Richard
Somewhere between 55 and
AshVilla
between 55 and 65 with this squad? if we get some signings in i can see us hitting that target NP but atm we would get nowhere near that
DeepDish
56-60 is very realistic, but hope for more.
