BOF Posted November 9, 2015 Moderator Share Posted November 9, 2015 Amavi - great player going forward but he lefty holes the size of Jordans snatch at times and Citeh were getting in behind him too often and too easilyWith him his head seems to go late in the game. He's always brilliant going forward, but around the 70 minute mark he inexplicably starts to make bad defensive decisions. Over-committing and gifting crossing opportunities on a plate. He has done it a few times this season. Maybe it's a fatigue thing. Maybe the attacking part takes so much out of him that he's dead on his feet for the closing stages. Either way, it's clearly the only part he needs to work on because he's brilliant at everything else, and even brilliant at that up until that point. That hasn't happened for a while.Picked the correct team and had the correct tactics. Which is a start. 2 weeks to prepare for Everton and Watford, in which we need at least 1 win. The FA quite were quite clearly bemused at how well Richards and Clarke played, you can see them being collared for wee wee testing at the end of the game! L2 sounds like good fun, always put on a decent showing. I particularly loved the "we'll be running round the bullring with our willies hanging out" chant last year.
