Popular Post a m ole
it's hard to put into words how important that point is, not just for the league table but for our players' confidence, the coaching staff's belief in our players, for the home fans. massive. Phumfeinz
I'm actually shaking and sweating. I've not felt this much emotion for Villa since... a long time ago Edited November 8, 2015 by Phumfeinz
KSV
Good point. Was ugly at the end but a clean sheet against city. Resolute and we didn't let them walk over us. Remi did this in what three days? Fantastic. Got two weeks now to work with them in attack too
Bunnski
Richards shouldn't be captain, he's the biggest whinger going and always looking to blame someone when his marking was dodgy again. A hard earned point that we were lucky to get and at least we now have something to build on. Good start Remi <
CanVillan
Nice fresh glass of Aston Villa please..Mmm that was yummy, thanks.
regular_john
That is a big point, but it is a much bigger performance. Full marks all round. We've got two weeks now for Remi to work with the boys, onwards and (hopefully) upwards!
Popular Post Spoony
Can we just take a moment to appreciate Rudy Gestede's masterclass in sportsmanship? Bloody hilarious.
supernova26
Looked a more rounded outfit. Yes they could/should of scored and we got lucky in that respect. Showed a little bit more up front (in relative terms) when Zog came on. We need him so stop the hate. Some comical moments Gestede/Hart and crowds reaction to Delph. Pleased for Remi. Dorset77Villa
What a game Villa fought like lions and with that sort of attitude we will soon be out of trouble. All 14 players deserve MOM!In Remi we trust!!! UTV!!!
Danwichmann
Rode our luck at the end, but we're well overdue some luck. Clean sheet, stopped the run of losses, looked organised, never panicked even when Man City stepped up a gear, already looking more confident and that result will only give us more. Yes Man City were the better a team, but they are a better team! They didn't look 20 places better today.
supermon
Sanchez, Veretout, Richards, Hutton, Clark and Amavi were excellent

gharperr
oh wow we was lucky.Played pretty dam well, midfield all fantastic. Hutton learn to fkin defend your man coming in from wide please in future. jfc. happened 4x todayWeeeeeeeee football <

sonic_bouma
Well I was behind the sofa at the end there. Never went behind it under Sherwood coz I quite frankly didn't give a shiti care again.a defeat right at the death could have sealed our fate. Instead we have stopped the rot and got a point against the best team in the leaguewell done remi and all the players
jasonperry_uk
Just highlights how ashamed Sherwood should be with his performances. Those players have always had clear ability, yet were consistently sent out with disorganised tactics and were clearly not being coached properly.
Woodytom
Obvious lack of power up front, but I am thoroughly delighted with that.
