People are expressing their opinions, for the most part lucidly. Football is all about opinions. I'm sure the General doesn't need people protecting him from criticisms and worries. I don't believe we will have signed fifteen world class players by Thursday. And I don't believe that the expectations of some people on this site are reasonable or realistic. We are making susatined progress and building for the long term. Immediate and total success would be nice, but then so would immortality and superpowers. finsburyparkvillain Posted August 7, 2007 Share Posted August 7, 2007 I believe......with a few more signings at the back(which i still think will happen soon), and the pacy, creative attacking threat that we have (if slightly unproven) this season will be a great stepping stone towards where we all want to end up. Yes we would all like to see 5 new quality players signing tomorrow, but in my view we should applaud MON and Randy for not being held to ransom. Lets see what happens come close to 1st september, when clubs are a little more eager to do business because of real fear fear of losing out on ANY fee for 4 months.
