Are you just completely ignoring the part where people ask 'how is he supposed to prove anything with players that don't care, don't try and aren't good enough and when a board won't back him'? What in the literal **** is he supposed to realistically do? Tell me. What the **** can he do?

Well that's the tough world of premier league management. This squad are shocking but he's done nothing, not a thing to suggest he can do a job here. Not a single player has performed their best under him. The team and the performances have been shocking. We're not a charity, why should we keep a manager who isn't getting similar results to what you or I would get if we were in charge?

He doesn't deserve it. Why does he get a free pass? I can't remember ever having another manager that fans didn't care if he lost every game. It's madness.

Despite all those lengthy factors lol. Those lengthy factors that most don't have to put up with.

Like I said earlier, what happens at the end of the season when the next guy fails? Sack him too? Then the next one after?

We did that. We gave Paul Lambert 2 and a half years and we got worse and worse. You don't just give anyone time just because, that's just stupid. They need to earn it. Once a manager shows they deserve time to build something I'm sure they will be given the opportunity to try and build something.

2 wins in 20 isn't worthy of extra time to build here, just like Tim Sherwood didn't deserve more time. And if the next guy is as shit then again we will need to look elsewhere.

This thread goes around in circles :)

Not a single player has performed their best under him because not a single **** player gives a **** shit. How does Remi, Pearson, Me, You, **** the understudy or Gareth or anyone deal with that?

We gave Lambert time but not Sherwood and it doesn't look like we will with Garde. I don't know the answer! Just pick the right man in the first place and stick with him unless of course we are points adrift at the bottom of the championship next season

But HE is supposed to motivate the players to care, to try and to gather some togetherness between the squad to get results.... yes the players have been awful but it is simply not good enough, he has to go.

Well yes. If there was an easy answer to get success we wouldn't be getting relegated as one of the worst teams in premier league history. Why would you stick with a manager who is clearly failing?

Can someone from Camp Gardashian make a list of tangible positives he has bought to us on the pitch?? I've got a feeling I'll be waiting a while, it's not even a debate. He's more deserving of the sack more so than any of our previous managers.

If we get one positive I will post my next comment whilst naked on the bonnet of my car tonight!

garde is truly depressing! Make your first big decision Bernstein and f*** him off!

Dropped a childish uninterested immature Grealish

Had us resembling a football team prior to Christmas

We beat Palace, Norwich and drew against the potential champions.

He isn't Tim Sherwood.

He isn't a 'yes' man for the board and called them out.

I await the picture.

Recalled Cissokho from loan and played him at LB so we didn't have to suffer with Richardson?

Quote

Remi Garde will have further talks with Aston Villa on Tuesday in a bid to thrash out the terms of his departure.

Garde is expected to return from France to continue negotiations with the Villa board, with his exit due to be confirmed later this week. Villa are reluctant to sack the Frenchman and pay out hefty compensation of around £2million but Garde will have discussions in an attempt to reach a compromise. Garde flew to France after the 1-0 defeat at Swansea to visit an ill relative and knows his time at the Premier League's bottom club is over after less than five months in charge.

Villa hope to conclude talks on Tuesday and could appoint Eric Black, Garde's No. 2, as interim manager for the remainder of the season. Kevin MacDonald is also poised to move up to the first-team from the under-21s.

Stands out to everyone that we need seismic change nicely, nicely got us  2 wins in 20  most of these players will  be here for a couple of years to come and left to a social worker type of manager will bleed the system. Why not make them suffer for that time and actually do the job they are supposed to do, train them to sweat take up their day with football and cut all the perks that come with their lifestyle . Tough guy will do for the moment this club is rotten to the core and needs someone to take a stand, weak gets you walked on .

I can just imagine Pearson Dressed up in Macho gear whipping Gaby saying "10grand, 20Grand, 30 Grand..........."
