I remember somebody ( @NurembergVillan maybe?) pointing out a few years back the colour of the logo is totally up to the sponsor. it's why we had the FXPro logo in colour on the black shirt even though it looked shit. No idea if there is a discussion, but my guess would be the sponsor sees the shirt and then decides how the logo would stand out best. I imagien they give almost no consideration to how it looks compared to the rest of the kit. Just if it stands out enough. The actual sponsor themselves will have the final say in most cases. It will depend on the relationship with the club though. Sometimes the kit supplier will want their logo in a particular colour and the club will veto it. It can vary from case to case though. I remember working on a kit at the start of my career where the sponsor would come to our office and measure the size of their logo to ensure it used up the full 200cm sq. allowed. Even if it was millimetres out they'd have us change it. Other sponsors see the value in working with the design of the shirt to make sure it goes together.
Stevo985 Posted June 29, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted June 29, 2016 Either way, I think it's pretty understandable that on a white body, Intuit wanted their logo in black.
NurembergVillan Posted June 29, 2016 Moderator Share Posted June 29, 2016 Some sponsors just want their exact colours, regardless of if it goes with the design, or if it's the colour of the club's main rivals. Presumably they're standing in front of a mirror, and that's why they all look so concerned / alarmed.

And it looks crap. Spoiler Keep it simple and traditional. I always think that produces the best kits.

There are rules on what you can do with the back of shirt to ensure visibility of the numbers.

They were going to use Scott Sinclair for the video, but he could never get past the cone. So they had to use this girl instead.
