troon_villan Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 That Fernando looks a quality player for City
sexbelowsound Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 2 goals, both offside. The Spurs one was so far offside i'm staggered that the linesman missed it.
rodders0223 Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 De Bruyne, whilst being a hugely gifted player, gives the ball away. A lot.
sexbelowsound Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Glenn Hoddle is funny. Didn't shut up about the questionable Man Citeh offside but both Spurs ones he changes the subject ASAP.
BOF Posted September 26, 2015 Moderator Posted September 26, 2015 So that's United effectively top of the league then.
rodders0223 Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Pellegrini tactically found out again. Flat track bully and a pretty abysmal manager all round.
AshVilla Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Did delph play?Or is he still massaging that hamstring of his
BOF Posted September 26, 2015 Moderator Posted September 26, 2015 I think missing Silva and Kompany may have had a lot to do with it too.
villa4europe Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Both great players but their £32m and £54m cover should be good enough to cope... 2
sexbelowsound Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Has Harry Kane always had a very prominent lisp or has he taken a smack in the gob?
BOF Posted September 26, 2015 Moderator Posted September 26, 2015 Both great players but their £32m and £54m cover should be good enough to cope...It's a good example of why price tags are irrelevant. Those 2 are still a massive part of the heartbeat of that side.
Keyblade Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Even so, they should have had enough not to get mauled by Spurs you'd imagine.
sexbelowsound Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 That'll be Leicester done IMO. They're a team riding the most ginormous of confidence waves to the point where they looked like they were bullet proof. We'll probably see a more tentative Leicester now and they aren't good enough to play that way and pick up points.

This style has beat: sunderland, villa, westham (cup), west ham (league). Theyve drew against: Tottenham, Stoke, bournemouth. Dont think theyre changing their style anytime soon, nor should they.

I was saying that their style of play requires 100% confidence and getting smashed will start to dent that and in turn they won't be as fully committed or confident in their approach. It happens to most teams.
VillaChris Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Despite all the flak he was getting last season (deservedly so) City look a mess in central defence without Kompany, Otamendi and Demechilis was a car crash today.I still; think they'll win the league purely due to what they have in attack as when that all clicks it will be incredible to watch but that is a clear weakness for them.

Still think their confidence is going to be sky high still, they created a lot today and they played against a top 4 team where they were expected to lose. First loss of the season.LOLchelsea. Fk off Mou.
