You'd think that some form of security (not necessarily armed) could be put in place for these types of meetings. Wouldn't be a guarantee of course but could easily try provent people entering with Knives etc.

I wonder if there is "some" sort of security, even if trained members of staff or police being aware of their whereabouts at all times. Or do they just go around like every other person?

Government ministers aside then generally just act like normal people

Quote

Former health secretary Matt Hancock has seen a United Nations job offer withdrawn.

Mr Hancock this week announced he had been appointed a special representative to the UN in an unpaid role.

The former cabinet minister, who resigned in June after admitting he broke coronavirus restrictions during relations with an aide, said he would be helping African countries to recover from Covid-19.

But according to Pass Blue, an independent organisation covering the UN, the offer will not be taken up by the organisation.

Rot in hell you little ****

So, turns out creepy sex cheat Matt Hancock was not the best person to save Africa from covid.

Terrible shame for the lad.

Looks like he'll have to change his Linked In profile again.

Now waiting for the surge of attacks on Somali asylum seekers (and Muslims generally).  :(

Why do you think this will happen after this particular murder ? I don't recall "surges' of attacks after the other atrocities committed by followers of this peaceful religion.

Turns out he was British born and not a Somalian national as first reported, whodda thunk it, journalists being wrong, fueling hate and being very slow to correct it

'Somali heritage', he's brown and has a funny name. That'll be more than enough for the gammons.

Yes but it was first reported as Somali national. I also don't see what his family background has to do with anything, that in itself fuels hate. He was born here, he's British

Correct. Thousands sadly don't agree.

Looks like the Tories and their media are using this as an opportunity to combat "the left" for calling them nasty names on Twitter, despite the fact this was not a left wing attack and certainly not someone inspired by the whole 'Tory Scum' thing.

It does trouble them that some people don’t like the idea of them stopping free school dinners at the same time they’re handing over free money to their friends and family for uncontested contracts.

Doing it doesn’t appear to trouble them. Being called out for it, that’s what irks them.

Precisely. If they want people to stop calling them scum, they should stop behaving like scum.

Sorry to repost an old vid (as infuriating as it is) but with the news that Carrie Johnson broke the rules last Christmas, but is now trying to justify it by saying she extended her childcare bubble, it makes Ali's 'he isn't my friend' look a little bit daft,

Just to ad some context to this, Nimco Ali is in the news today because she spent Christmas with the Johnsons but they absolutely did not break any lockdown rules, no siree Bob, no at all, the very suggestion...

She stayed in a cupboard and had her Turkey pushed under the door and didn't come out until the Johnsons had been out of the house for three full days
