bickster Posted June 12, 2019 Moderator Share Posted June 12, 2019 Quote Jeremy Hunt’s claim he’s never broken the law is not true Jeremy Hunt rowed back on claims he has never done anything illegal after reporters reminded him of the time he broke company laws aimed at preventing money laundering and tax evasion. The foreign secretary made the U-turn hours after the launch of his campaign to replace Theresa May as Conservative Party leader and the UK’s next Prime Minister. It comes after several Tory leadership contenders have confessed to having taken illegal drugs in the past. When asked if he had ever committed any criminal offences, Mr Hunt said: ‘I’m really racking my brain at the moment but the answer is no.’ But his campaign team backtracked five hours later when challenged over Mr Hunt failing to declare a 50 per cent share in a property firm used to buy him seven luxury flats. peterms
Those characters look much more interesting than the talentless numpties who really are backing him: Quote Johnson has the highest number of cabinet backers, including the chief secretary of the Treasury, Liz Truss, and the transport secretary, Chris Grayling, as well as the two former defence secretaries, Gavin Williamson and Michael Fallon. chrisp65
teachers are banned from teaching for offences such as serious dishonesty or use or possession of class A drugs that would thin out the field if they applied the same rules to tory MP's as they do to teachers

Chindie Posted June 13, 2019 VT Supporter Share Posted June 13, 2019 At the very least there are 47 Tory MPs who should be given urgent specialist medical attention, as they seem to be under the impression that McVey, Leadsom or Raab are suitable candidates to run the country, when they are all unqualified to run a tap.
peterms
Inveterate liar doesn't trust his colleagues not to lie to him, and says so, because it presumably seems unremarkable either not to trust them, or to show that he feels they are not to be trusted. What a bunch.
LakotaDakota
Everyone else should just drop out now, Pointless delaying things any further given that BJ got more votes than the next 3 most likely combined and at least 3 times more than anyone else other than Hunt

peterms
What I don't get is how all the tories who make such a big thing about pride in our country can vote for that imbecile. We will be a laughing stock among other nations, having such a lying, venal, philandering, lazy, narcissistic, hypocritical racist as a PM. On a par with how we mock the US for having ended up with that arse Trump. They must realise this - don't they? Do they really not care?
