NibblyPig Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 Four teams within a point... This is not who you would like to stay up... it's who you would think will stay up
Guest Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 I think Palace will stay up. If it was who I wanted to see stay up, then that would be Norwich. I hope Southampton get relegated though
Tegis Posted April 30, 2005 VT Supporter Posted April 30, 2005 Saints will stay up. They've done this before.
The_Rev Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 The best thing is, i honestly dont know! Ive voted Palace, but only because i want to see the poll results.
trinitytalk Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 palace for me, i think they are the only team that has any chance of staying up because they have players like johnson, and routledge that are helping them stay afloat
ianrobo1 Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 Whoever wins the Saints Palace match will stay up, if that is a draw then fancy Saints as they have Man Utd at home who will be looking at the cup final, but Palace have a London derby against Charlton.
ED Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 I hope Palace don't stay up because if they do it will be because of penalties. Norwich are a "nice club" and I'd like to see them stay up whilst West Brom pissed me off scoring with the last kick of the game so I hope they go down. With regards Saints, I hope they go down so we can re-sign Crouch.
ligs Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 Palace. I really have no idea though - come the last day all 4 teams could still have a chance of staying up, I don't remember that ever happening before
The_Rev Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 I dont want to see all three promoted clubs go straight back down. I agree with Dan about Palace, but i like Dowie (mind you, i think his managerial futute is very much in the premiership, away from Palace) I dont have a prefrence between WBA and Norwich. If the Baggies stay up, its good for West Midlands football, if Norwich do it, then its proof that nice guys dont have to finish last.
dubav Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 I am going for saints as long as harry can get the defence sorted for the last couple of games.
The_Rev Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 As Villa will inevitably sign players from a relegated club, perhaps we should hope that Chelsea get 65 points deducted as a penalty for tapping up Ashley Cole, go down, and let us have Lampard, Robben, Terry and Cech at knockdown prices?
blandy Posted April 30, 2005 Moderator Posted April 30, 2005 I think Saints will. I'd like it to be Norwich, or even the Yam Yams, but wth West Brom having to play Man U and Arse, and Norwich having a terrible defence, they're both gone. Palace I just don't like.
swaib2004 Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 They all have a chance i can see Baggies beating Pompey last game of the season to be honest (pompey will roll over if there is any chance of saints still going down) it depends whether they nick some points off UTD or Arsenal.
ligs Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 We should all hope Southampton stay up, with us being unbeaten at St Mary's
dubav Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 gera bernard and aj take one from each team relagated.
kjackson Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 I thought Norwich would stay up before last night's result. Saints will stay I think.
Afros Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 I'm hoping Saints go down, the **** have been down there so long, they deserve to go. Wouldn't that be funny if Pompey rolled over on the last day and WBA stayed up, a point ahead of Saints! Hope it happens!

As long as Norwich or Palace stay up I will be happy - I hate Soton and the Baggies - hope both of these buggers drop.
