Marka Ragnos Posted September 3, 2015 VT Supporter Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) Hope I didn't miss anyone!I don't normally do the public votes, but this seems a pretty innocuous poll -- and I thought it would be interesting to see where various VTers feel the most excitement. Marka Ragnos Posted September 3, 2015 Author VT Supporter Posted September 3, 2015 Traore and Ayew. 1
norwegianvillain Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Kinda missed Sinclair, as he was technically signed this summer. 1
Keyblade Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Voted Adama, Amavi and Veretout. Gueye is close to the finished article already (still a great player though) and once he gets properly up to speed he will be very good for us. But I'm really excited to see Amavi and especially Adama reach their potential with us. Remember when Gareth Bale ruined (exaggeration) Maicon's career over the course of one night at WHL? Well I think Adama will be doing something similar to a fair few LBs during his time here, and I can't wait to savour it all.Veretout I think will end up becoming the player we hoped Gary Gardner would be, which is bittersweet because we still have Gardner here and it doesn't look like he'll ever reach that potential but we might get to see it after all under different circumstances. Also can we add Gil to the list? Really excited to see how he gets on this season in his first proper run in the side. Think he's going to kill it alongside Jack and Adama. 2
V01 Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Amavi and Gana obviously. Traore and Ilori also, expecting them to control the right flank between them. 1
abdulaziz1 Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Amavi , Veretout and Traore. But for now im impressed with Gueye instead of Veretout and Sinclair. 1
skarroki Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I dunno whether I'm most excited, or potentially just most intrigued, by Veretout and Ayew. Think they have potential and I'm waiting to see THAT match where they show everyone just what they can do. 2
Marka Ragnos Posted September 3, 2015 Author VT Supporter Posted September 3, 2015 No Sinclair? Sorry, just listed "new" players for the summer 2015 window, but I get what you're saying. I think he's pretty damn interesting!
Marka Ragnos Posted September 3, 2015 Author VT Supporter Posted September 3, 2015 I dunno whether I'm most excited, or potentially just most intrigued ... Yeah, "excited" is a bit of a one-note response.
AVTuco Posted September 3, 2015 VT Supporter Posted September 3, 2015 No excitement about Richards?? 1
romavillan Posted September 3, 2015 VT Supporter Posted September 3, 2015 Amavi, Gueye, Veretout, Traore. Exactly where my votes went. 1
TrentVilla Posted September 3, 2015 Moderator Posted September 3, 2015 Lescott. More for the impact I think he will have on the team which is exciting. As a stand alone prospect its Amavi. 1
Stevo985 Posted September 3, 2015 VT Supporter Posted September 3, 2015 Amavi. I like public polls. Lets you know who's just taking the piss 2
Khizzy Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Amavi, Traore (honourable mentions for Gana/Gueye and Veretout). 2
Richard Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Put a tick in all boxes as they all signify a changing of the attitude amongst the players at the the club 1
KHV Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Amavi, Gueye, Veretout, Traore. Exactly where my votes went. me too 1
Neil Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Just went for the one, to answer the "who is the one I'm most excited about" and that's Amavi. I think the full back position can be the most exciting in an attacking team, and when you have someone demonstrating they can make forward runs taking on players and setting up from that position it's quite mouth watering. So hands down, this is the kid I will be looking out for. Closely followed by Traore, because he's the "touted wonderkid" that has already popped in a few goals. 1
AValon Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Amavi, without question. Gana looks some player and will get better and better. Traore is exciting, but I fear he'll need to have kevlar ankles. Good summer all round though. 1
