sharkyvilla
Yep fitness looks to be a huge issue for the lad. Who knows, there could be a decent player there, but he needs to get and stay on the pitch.
PompeyVillan
Hasn't he been injured recently? Didn't look up to much tonight. Indeed he looked pants.

VillaChris
After seeing that tonight (against a league 2 team) I can fully understand why he never got close to premier league action. Would imagine Liverpool will send him on loan to a championship team once they get players fit again.

Lmfao we're a ***** shambles On that performance, he made Clark look like Maldini As fans we have the ability to imagine (and hope) players perform to their potential but never see how they perform on a day-to-day basis on the training pitch. Illori is another player who on paper (and certain sports based strategy computer games) has bags of potential but when it comes down to the nitty gritty, he just isn't cut out for it. Maybe we are a shambles for buying into his potential and therefore stumping up cash to secure the loan, however he never got a sniff at our first team regardless of our defence doing its best impression of a colander and that show's our coaching staff didn't have the confidence in him. Best thing for all parties was the loan cancellation. Hopefully we can get someone else in who can contribute more than just taking our money and fuelling fans dreams that he's next big thing.

Stevo985 Posted January 9, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted January 9, 2016 He didn't look very good. But I imagine the main issue was his fitness. He looked absolutely shattered in what was a relatively quiet night for him against a League 2 team. He might not be injured anymore, but on tonight's evidence he's not match fit whatsoever.
