GasGasGas
Will it be the case for Messi too? Barcelona struggling against Bilbao for the 3rd game in a row failing to get ahead even with a penalty awarded.
VillaChris
Messi only became a regular when he was 19 wasn't he, first season I remember him making a devastating impact was 2006/07 when he scored hattrick v Madrid. He also had a lot of injuries in the early games so hasn't quite played as much football as a few others.

VillaChris
Bit of a comedown for their midfield really....last season it was Pirlo--Vidal-Pogba...now it's Pogba and 3 others. Is Khedria injured already? No way they can sell Pogba this window.
rodders0223
Fabregas, like Rooney, has been playing first team football since his teens. Both are starting to show a little wear and tear. It's a little less obvious with Fabregas because he was never an explosive player, but it's definitely visible. Good examples of how young players need to eased into first team football, but it is difficult when they're so good so young. You can't really not play a player who is good enough at 17 just to stop them fading when they get to 28/29. Torres is another one, could argue same for Raul and Owen as well Whilst Drogba and Wright developed much later and performed well into his thirties... Jimzk5
Raul scored goals at the highest level until he was 35, owen probably would have done too but rushing back from injury's effectively ended his career before he was 30.
Zatman
that he did but that was a renaissance, his last 6 seasons in Madrid was not so prolific except 2 seasons with Van NIstelrooy and he looked tired and fatigued

Clearly was only playing because he was 'Mr Madrid.'
