VillaChris Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 (edited) Aduriz has become a world class finisher late in his career hasn't he? Saw him play a few years back at Stoke for Valencia, nothing special and was Soldado's back up then. Was surprised he's 32, had a pretty journeyman career but been brilliant for Bilbao last 18 months. Edit: No idea on his age as his wiki has him born in 79 and 81! StanBalaban Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Everton winning. For some reason, they remind me of us under Lambert.
PompeyVillan Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 They are much, much, much better than us under Lambert. That was a lovely goal.
PieFacE Posted August 15, 2015 VT Supporter Posted August 15, 2015 Barkley should have scored there...
PompeyVillan Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Cleverley is the epitome of average. I guess this is the partisan football fan in me, but I'm glad he chose Everton. He's the worst of Everton's midfield.
StanBalaban Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 0-2. Lukaku again. He hit a fan with the ball in the warmup and went up to personally apologise. https://twitter.com/CPDFootball/status/632522552817119232 3
rodders0223 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Everton will throw the lead away. It's a Martinez side after all.
rjw63 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 The championshit must be really crap seeings small heath are currently top. Flukey words removed.
calcifer Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Everton winning. For some reason, they remind me of us under Lambert. They have had 6 shots on target in the 1st half! We was lucky to muster that in 6 games under that idiot!
Arj Guy Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Do Small Heath have a chance of promotion this season?
MessiWillSignForVilla Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Whilst Everton have been good, Southampton have been poor too. All Everton have had to do is sit back and hit them on the counter, if more teams realise that's going to be effective against them, I can see them being in for a long season. Southampton have hardly created anything, and been sloppy at the back.
Keyblade Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Lukaku has been in beast mode today fair play to him. Still barely 22 too, still plenty of time to bring consistency to his game.
