     Who's in these photos?

This guy claims Liverpool are in pole position.

Mind, he appears to be the only person reporting it that way and he's a "journalist" on twitter, so a huge pinch of salt is required..

However, if true, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if Stoke and our interest was released to hurry Liverpool along.

Aston Villa have stepped into the chase for Barcelona winger Adama Traore.

The 19-year-old has been consistently linked with a move to Liverpool's but the Anfield club are not pursuing a deal for the Barcelona B starlet.

Adama, as he is known, has been a long-term target for Stoke City, who remain keen, but Villa have emerged as favourites.

Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood is keen on signing Barcelona starlet Adama Traore this summer

The Spain Under 19 international is represented by the same agents who look after Jose Angel Crespo, the right-back Villa signed from Cordoba last week.

Villa have discussed paying a fee to take the winger on loan for the season, while a permanent £7million deal - with buy-back clauses included - is also an option.

Adama has been compared to Everton signing Gerard Deulofeu though Barcelona coaching staff believe he has greater potential owing to his willingness to listen and adapt.

He has already played for Barcelona's first team and made his La Liga debut as a 17-year-old substitute replacing Neymar in a 4-0 win over Granada.

Simon Jones article.

A player known by his actual name! When will this madness end?

That Fabrizio Romano guy seems to be a real journalist and not just some twitter hack.

Could very well be that we are just being used as a bargaining chip.

He'd certainly be an exciting signing but based on that video I'm not sure how good he actually is. The defending is hopeless and he's dominating because of his physicality. He's raw but definitely has the makings of a good player.

Can't see him ever being good enough for Barcelona, even just because they don't use players of his style.

Doesn't even need to ever be good enough for Barca, just needs to be good enough for someone to be willing to pay more than the buyback clause, so that Barca can bring him back and immediately sell to the highest bidder.

We'll only keep him if we become very good and he wants to stay, or if he becomes championship standard and we can't get rid of him

Big boys now though ain't they? They don't lose players to lowly little Aston Villa. Your Gueye's and your Amavi's and your Veretout's would never come to a shit hole like Villa Park.

Just like any other forums do and same as Villa fans do to other teams...whats the news really? xd

P.S. Traore would be great signing, especially with his pace coming on 2nd half he could cause havoc.

They've had two seasons of solid top-half finishes to be fair so I can understand why they'd expect to beat us to signings.
